ELECTION NOTICE
OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 318
A secret ballot election for the offices of Business Manager, President, and three (3) Trustees will be conducted by Operating Engineers Local 318 at the date, time and place indicated below.
Date: Sunday, August 23, 2026
Time: 6:00am to 6:00pm
Place: IUOE Local 318 Union Hall
3310 Water Tower Rd
Marion IL 62959
Members will be asked to present their Local 318 membership card and photo
identification at the polls. Members must be current on dues and have dues paid
through July 31, 2026 to be eligible to vote.
As provided in the Local 318 Bylaws, Article VII Terms of Office Section 3: Absentee
ballots will be allowed with good reason among the general membership. Absentee ballots
will be available at Local 318 Union Hall office on August 12, 2026. Your signature,
membership card and photo identification will be required in order to obtain an absentee ballot.
The ballot must be returned to Local 318 office in the sealed numbered envelope that is
enclosed with the ballot no later than August 21, 2026 at 4:00pm.
Any absentee ballot that is not submitted as required will be voided.
